SUCCESSFUL HIGH IQ AFRICAN AMERICAN FEMALE QUESTIONS BELL CURVE WEBSITE
[Concerning your Bell Curve page,] I don't have as much a problemwith the information
as I do with the way in which it was presented on your Web site. You mustrealize the
state of race relations in this country today. Putting information out there
like that may (and this is yet to be proven, but for the sake of argument)be
true, but presenting it in that irresponsible way is like telling someonethat
they really are retarted with the IQ of a turnip and presenting no meansof
surviving.
Am I making sense? I'm probably not giving a good example, but I'm tryingto
make the point that you don't put out information which may be true in an
irresponsible manner which will incite stereotypes.
Plus, as a very successful black woman with numerous honors from Northwestern
University (where I graduated near the top of my class in Electrical
Engineering), I take offense. I believe our upbringing and the way we are
raised plays a huge role in our intellectual well being; I think I'm living
proof. However, I have not and will not read the book The Bell Curve, soI
cannot in good faith get into a debate with you. I can only state how Ifeel
from my own frame of mind.

ACCR Comment
We are happy that this successful African American female has performedwell and has inherited a high IQ level as evidence by graduating at thetop of her class at Northwestern University, a major institution which ishighly selective in choosing its student body and proof positive of herintelligence level and abilities. This is what freedom is all about. Keepit up, Dear Reader. We like to see this.
